I guess technically it would be campaign but that doesn't thats what's best to use it on.

Start farming Fire Knight (as long as you can farm 6 star gear), preferably Hard 6+

If not that, Dragon 20+

@OP   same with my account . I actual accumulate and it builds daily on my account.  I like to keep it on high  reserve for  CVC personal rewards  running  content for cvc  pts  or for completing fusions by running dungeons

I personally do not use energy unless I am getting  something extra for it.......meaning run a specific dungeon for gear  only if it means I get extra rewards from an attached event/tournament  etc

But that could  also explain why my greatest weakness  on my own account  is "quality gear"

If you leave your energy capped, you give up an extra 480 energy per day from losing the 20/hour accumulation.

Think of all that Minotaur, Sand Devil, Shogun, Iron Twins or plain old Dungeon Gear....

My energy is typically capped only when I am sleeping.         

so my personal account  energy is currently 140K and was at one point 190K before  doing the last Tormin fusion/event last christmas

It literally increases every day by just doing daily free stuff  in the game

Now  if you actively go out and try to burn your energy then yes I hear you

But there is plenty of free energy within the game if you collet it thru all the FREE means

I may miss  out on the natural daily minute by minute accumulation but  if I do all the other free stuff in the game its  gonna grow and stockpile

Now if you want to get down to why I do not  burn my energy is because I do not have  enough FREE multi battles to spend said energy

I burn through all of the energy available in-game from all of the various sources.

My clan is L17 and I do not buy the Raid Pass, so I have "only" 55 multibattles per day, plus all the ones that can be earned as tourney/event/Sintranos rewards.

I can't even use all my multi-battles most days and the ones that accumate in my Inbox frequently get claimed right before they expire.  

Yeah I mean for years I definitely did just burn through all my energy. But eventually you reach a point where it's just not worth the real-world effort to actually do that. After that, fusions become much easier to manage, since you're always sitting with several thousand energy when they start :)

For a spender like PG, doesn't make sense to try and burn it now. For a f2p like kram, his strategy keeps him regressing in midgame  ;) IMHO 

I do agree that PG has built himself a huge stockpile of energy (or dug himself a huge whole, depending on perspective), but if he were to start burning it, I am sure he would find that he uses more per day than he accumulates....and he would have more mastered toons, better gear, more ascension materials....

I find fusions to be easy enough to manage on the day-to-day accumulation of energy and the energy available in-game.  

However, I do sometimes forget what they were like before being able to use L20 dungeons for triple dipping on event/tourney points.  

If there was something to care about progressing towards, I might agree with you. As it stands, I'm content to slowly limp my way through the last stretch of Sintranos, for the absolutely unimpressive rewards to be gained.

Curious how you find the rewards unimpressive? Though I am also slowly limping along... but I'm just lazy.

now that I'm too often above 1400 pieces I'm going through my Stone Skin and starting to trim off the fat a bit because really, why do I need over 10 6* weapons 😂

gear quality needs to be going up, not going sideways at best. with that in mind I think I'll be able to pare down my gear to 1250 or less pretty easily.
