I think it's rather meaningless tbh.  Stat boosts will likely be less than for legendary, and the dupe will usually be better used as a chicken. 

I can think of a few instances where it might be advantageous (specific Sintranos champs, Shamael) but mostly gonna be better off with Guardians, chicken, etc.

Seer  with +4 empowerment sound fun :D

TBH, I only use a handful of epics anymore, but I can totally see empowering being fun for a few specific toons:

Shamael & Nia for Hydra.  

Dazdurk cuz I use one in a 3v3 team.  

Miscreated Monster because he deserves to be the best Monster a Monster can be.  

Great move for early + mid game players.  Less impactful for late and end gamers but all in all I'll take it is a big positive. 

sounds good to me, the amount of +4 epics I could have had had I not been using 99.9999% of my epic pulls for the last years as chickens.

In reality great for early game players and maybe a half dozen late game epics.

im just gonna +4 the epic already built if FG is full ... chicken are nice but few more spd seems better(fyi i dont have a ton of epic built so im talking for myself) ...

agree...I mean I do have roughly 100 Legos but there is  still areas of the game I need Epics and a little extra kick to them is going to help me do such content.  (Sintranos / DT secret rooms)

My account lacks SUPER Gear.. Those quad rolls on sub stats etc......So if  a +4 empowerment to my Epic gives a little extra  kick to them = I am all in ;)

I use double Seeker on my CB team, not sure if I'll empower though, i already 1-key unm and a speed boost would mean regearing to keep the tune

But I also use Fenax and Alika in the various arenas a lot, looking very much forward to pumping them up further

Absolutely a great move for the game.  

Really fun for DPS options, for sure. I've seen Fenax a bit in live arena as a Wukong counter recently too. 

I've got a few Epics I use a lot and empowering them is awesome. Godseeker and Deacon are both 6 Star Awakened, so more stats for them is great. I've got 2 Uugos and 2 Shamaels I use between my 3 Hydra teams, again getting them more powerful sounds great as I continue to play.

Not to mention Geomancer, Genbo, freakin WHISPER is already OP so more OP incoming. Venomancer and Dark Kael are other great ones so upgrading them is something I'm grateful for.

Then look at the Unkillable Boss Teams. They're built around epics like Maneater, Seeker and Demythia. 

I'm not sure why you're so negative about this? Even if it only improves your account by like 0.1%, its still better than nothing and gives people something else to do.

I'm struggling to get used to the idea that by any reasonable definition I'm an end-game player; Epic enhancement isn;t going to do a lot for me, not nearly as much as it will help my earlier-game clanmates.

I still think it's fantastic even though it doesn't benefit me much personally. Not *everything* needs to cater exclusively to the most advanced players.

I'm not sure what the End-Game tier is. I had UNM on 2 key months before I could finish DT Hard. I still haven't gotten a team that can auto IG or FK Hard 10. I have IT 15 on farm all affinities, but Sand Devil I'm not past stage 14 yet... same for Shogun. I wonder how most people would define a "end game" account, especially now with Sintranos 

Different people will have different definitions, personally i class someone as in the end game once they have ramantu as it means they have done most of the content.

Others may feel that is just mid game, it doesnt really matter i guess.

Absolutely.  IMO its more of a catch up mechanic and a very good one.

It's largely subjective and entirely unimportant but for me personally...

- UNM 1 key

- All DT rotations on farm

- Gold Tier in 3v3

- All dungeons on farm at highest level

- Amius defeated every Rotation

- Obtained Ramantu

- Few Billion + in Hydra Clash
