Finishing NM campaign isn't important at all. I didn't finish it until I was about done with Faction Wars, just never bothered going back and spending time on it. It's one shard.

I'd be farming Dragon and Spider to improve my gear for my CB team to get daily UNM and NM rewards for many more shards every month. :)

Definitely leave it for now.  But also be on the lookout for a Paragon ( Void Rare ) as you can use him to help you cheese the final boss.

Wait until you get paragon and just don't bother until 

Actually i got it done after getting paragon but didnt use him , wasnt working for me ... worked with 2 champs but when i actually had good gear for my best champs and not before ^^ So yea OP should put it on the side for now but can try later without paragon too :o

Tbf I did it with scyl and tyrant, I think. But I don't recommend it. 

As others have said, you do not have the toon strength to clear NM yet, and it really is not that important.  The Paragon Cheese is the way that many people clear NM 12-7; however, I did it with a couple of very tanky toons.  In my case, it was MM and Valla, but my MM is a machine.  Here he is for reference.

I waited so long to do it that I used Ninja to clear legendary campaign. Haha

I had forgotten about this last task for so long its not funny. Too my credit, I solved the problem today with a poorly equipted 50 level Armaz and full 60 Hurndig with absolutely no problem. Really I found the run so easy, I considered it almost criminal. 

Total time, roughly 2 minutes, 30 seconds.

I mean, considering Armanz can solo literally anything that isn't immune to TM control - that doesn't surprise me.
