Duchess, better in arena (and pretty much everywhere)

Duchess..she just is useable nearly everywhere...from Hydra to Arena and between

Unanimous Duchess votes.  Figured as much.  

I do lean to Duchess simply for Hydra.  If I replace Pythion with Duchess on my Hard team, I gain consistent Veil & Inc Atk, and everyone on that team does damage based on Atk, so I could see a significant jump in total damage there.  It could realistically push me over 400M (800M Clash) for that team.  Elva simply cannot match her in that spot.

Duchess has been my most-wanted toon for a very long time; however, I have actually come to the conclusion that my account will never have a Duchess.  I pull shards every time Duchess is boosted, but she never finds her way home to me.  I have pulled more shards for Duchess than any other toon.

Not sure how much Classic and 3v3 usage either of them would see.  I am pretty good on support in Arena with 2X Pythion, 2X Ukko, 2X Kymar, Arbiter, Siphi & Mithrala all built out and tuned into teams.  

For Live Arena, Duchess wins hands-down.   

For general all-around utility, I actually gravitate to wanting Elva just because she has a Cleanse & Inc Speed with her Block Buffs...which I find more attractive than Inc Atk & Perfect Veil.          

Duchess, but i do find elva very annoying in arena.

Imma buck the trend and say I find Elva more annoying in arena than Duchess, at least in Live Arena.  

gotta agree with skillz here. i used duchess in the early days of live arena, but found elva to be far more useful. would still definitely go for duchess overall though.

Be like Thorne and never do live, problem solved

I have 6star ascension on duchess and still rarely use in live arena, only tag. I think it's a toss up. Duchess may be better for hydra but definitely not auto friendly.

I've got 2 and basically never use them.  They're in 2 TTA teams but thats whatever.  She's good for Hydra support but not in any teams trying to maximize damage. 

I do not have any of the mega-meta toons for the humongous damage runs.  Are you saying that my assumption that she would amp up damage for my attack-based Hard Hydra team in place of Pyhtion is wrong?  How?

Team is Rabbit, Ruel, Venus, Cupidus, Brago & Pythion.  If Duchess jumped in for Pyhtion, I'd think the Inc Atk would reap great rewards.  Team runs to 1500 turns on manual.        

I use Duchess on my Hard team - full team comp is Razel (lead), Duchess, Uugo, Kantra, Rathalos (relentless), and Artak (relentless). On full auto, I get ~100M dmg, and on auto for the majority but then taking over when devour counters start to get low, I've hit ~180M. 

I have no idea tbh. But I only manual my NM, I use duchess on brutal Hydra and she is really good but I've been manualing 1st 5 minutes and then let it rip on auto lately.  Whether I do 50 100 or 150 million on hard, brutal is irrelevant with the broken teams out there. Unfortunately my og Hydra champs are all terrible on auto. So on my todo list is auto friendly Hydra champs.  Probably 2025 or 2026 at my pace and new mission priorities and sinatros. 

If I run it on auto, it'll do less than 100M.  If I run it on manual, I can go all the way to 1500 turns.
My best run is 342M with the only Inc Atk being the one Cupidous Self-Buffs...

Anyway, gotta pull a Duchess before I can even try it, and I am not really expecting that to happen.  Skipping blues.  Gonna pull some golds tomorrow.  Might still give Elva the boost anyway.  As I said before, outside of Hydra, I lean into her kit more than Duchess. 

I see Elva as a pseudo-Siphi, trading the Inc Def on the A2 for one less cooldown on the A3.      

I effed up. Pulled some blues, on 2nd 10-pull, got 2 legos (Minaya and a dupe War Mother).... and then i realized i forgot to slot in Duchess in the 15x choices... Another (2) chance(s) wasted LOL

If it makes you feel any better, the 15x would have still *very* likely not have produced Duchess.

Within that team shed definitely be an improvement over Pythion.  I just meant in general the highest damage teams don't use someone like Duchess because she doesn't offer enough offensively, if that makes sense.  In general she's a great champ for the vast majority of the player base for Hydra.

I refuse to do anything but auto Hydra.  My auto runs take roughly an hour.  I'm not manualling that and making it 2 hours.
