I'd suggest a variation of Dthorne's chess clock, once u hit 5 minutes including team selection you go on auto.  When both players hit the auto timer it auto completes.  Both can still get a loss in stalemate, never incentivize stall tactics imo.

Something like this feels better.  I dont see too much stall but honestly I'd just leave.  I have better things to do than wait it out to save 4 points.  Also would have preferred the pick timer get reduced.

Anything that reduces time in LA is a gud thing, this change seems very very small

What used to annoy me most in bronze and silver tiers was fighting bots, why the hell does a bot take 30secs to decide what to do everytime? got to the point i wud quit as soon as i realised it was a bot fight!!

What annoys me most now in gold tiers, why the hell do i have wait 1min for nothing to happen everytime i lose 3 times in a row, what exactly is this meant to achieve other than pissing me off

Considering Cirilla keeps saying plarium are aware of time in game issues, that wud be 2 easy fixes

Its pointless since I'm fairly certain you have never sat in a Live Arena match for 20 minutes let alone 30.  But we've both faced people going afk from the start lol.

We get a lot of complaints about this actually. Even if it's 1/20 matches, that 30 minute one seems to stick with people.

The people complaining are the aholes picking stall teams... lmao. 

I just want to see the time spent in Live Arena - even competitive matches where no one is being a jerk and/or AFK - vastly reduced. 

Until then I'm probably still going to be a very rare participant. 😴

You have better geared champs than I for pvp.  I'm slow as !@#$ and still 90% of time went speed race and risked sheep. 6-4 in as little time as possible is goal.  Lots of "bad" teams in 3300-3600 range now.  Win most of those and get spanked by a few.... I have 2 pvp well geared champs (wukong warlord) and that got me to edge of g3.  A lucky 8-0 run pushed me over the finish line. I did use marichka for first time that day lol

Just kill them faster 4head.  But yeah thats why I'd prefer a pick timer reduction rather than an overall battle.

This explains your subpar Hydra scores.  🤔 

maybe it is time to just approach it from a speed running perspective and take a slight wr since I've got enough nukers to just turbo my way through (Rotos, Georgid and Heph)

the good news is if you outscore me by 1b+ every week for the rest of the year you might erase the total deficit between us 😌

just the other day, i was thinking to myself that maybe it was about time to pick up live arena again.

it would seem that the universe took umbrage at that.

Honestly, the higher up you get the faster everything is.  The stalling is almost nonexistent and most quit out as soon as they are beat.  

I did mind the stalling in the beginning too but now i leave the match as soon as i see that im not going first, to save time, i also quit if ive gone first and couldnt nuke the team and i see they are going to certainly recover, no point dragging it along. The real battle is still the champ choosing, atleast where i am in rankings, everyone use pretty much the same champs, what i mean is they know what 5-10 champs they are going to use when they enter match, yet is still takes a whole minute to pick for some people. They are picking as if it was a world championship finals, move it along guys chop chop 😁

But Trips, this would require much more Live than I currently play....

I jinxed it... stallers everywhere since I posted it was better 😆... I'm a few days away from being done with Quintus so I'll probably drop so I can more easily get the 4 primals per month.
