Does the mastery Helm Smasher improve bomb damage or is this mastery only added to the hit and not the damage from the debuff? I just got Gnishak Verminlord on the Guaranteed Lego offer and am struggling on how to finish out his masteries. I am leaning towards the Helm Smasher mastery but am uncertain. I expect I will use him in all areas of the game and that is why it is a tough choice.
it doesn't apply to debuff damage and even if it did, bombs already ignore 100% defense so it wouldn't improve them. giant slayer is probably your best choice for gnishak, although you could also go eagle-eye.
