IDK, why specifically do you think it's impossible. I woke up only an hour ago and already have over 2K points. I've already collected 6 *2 chickens, 4 *3 chickens, Hill Nomad, Epic Offense Artifact, and 2 Ancient Shards.

It's indeed currently impossible to complete, because the event has simply disappeared from the game 
@Angwil, it would be more helpful if you could provide some info:
- what's your in-game level?
- are you f2p or p2p?
- how much silver have you spent?
A statement "this event is impossible to complete blah blah not good for community" may be coming from level 10 free-to-play rookie, while you may be either a fat whale throwing $$$ on this game, veteran player with 20M+ silver or just extremely lucky one getting all upgrades on first try and not seeing any problem here.

Honestly the artifact events are probably the easiest. you can save silver and items and complete the second they drop. Anything that requires energy requires you to spend diamonds, same with arena points. Leveling items/champs and summoning save your money, brews and shards then just drop them when it hits. These events are different than other games and while I don't agree with them it is how they do it. If you want my opinion keep duplicate champs, and when these big events come around just go for the fusion if you have the heroes. the other stuff is too high a cost
im a lvl 57 f2p player that uses his resources very carefully and its nearly impossible to complete the event even with weeks of saving up silver. I have absolutely no problems with any other events
I am level 58 now. I spend about $150 U.S. a month, buy only gems and use them to replenish energy. Hey guys, where did the event go? What happened here? I was on my way to getting the rage monger and suddenly it dissappeared. I got all other Champs in place for the legendary fusion, just need the Rage Monger from this event. it would be a massive pain if I couldn't get him anymore now. Does anyone know what's going on??? ThxThey cancelled the event, promised some update tomorrow.

Spending $150 a month, I guess, you have pretty good champs and you're mostly doing CB, arena and higher stages of dragon/spider/FK. At this point silver is usually in abundance.

Which may not be the case for many players. I'm level 60, spending about $50/mo - I rarely have more that 5M silver at a time. Energy goes to Mino, silver goes to gear swaps and potion mixing.
I'm just starting to feel like I have a good list of champs. I'm not doing CB or Areana like I should be b/c of chasing all these events and tournys'. I have barely started doungens. Mostly just farming campaigne for foood and going to potions donguons.
After 4 or 5 months since I started, Maulie is m 5th legendary. And yes. I do feel like the RNG has been good (lucky) to me.
