I feel for you but as one of those evil IT Security people I can tell you we do that to protect both you and your organization. 

Heres the boiled down advice I give for every first time offender I have to have the "chat".

Have a data plan on your personal phone? Use that along with your personal laptop. I also suggest not playing Raid in your workspace or cubicle. Just too obvious. You get breaks and lunch? Go to your vehicle and play there but don't forget to eat, wash up and don't forget your also working.t

Don't get so wrapped up that you end up hurting your career but be cool about it. Raid is designed to take 25 hours a day and is deceptively designed to be addictive. Calm down, mods. It is and you know it. Its cool but let this comment be and we will continue to be adults about the discussion, please.
