Got my 3 first sacred shards saved up. Was gonna save for event but then this came up (2x legendary chance) is it worth using em now or shall i save for event?

I got no legendaries in my troop so far
Depends what you need more...
1 side you could get higher chance of your first legendary
other side is to play it safer, wait till you can get guaranteed rewards from a summoning event..
I'd personally go with the first option and open them.
Thanks for your input :) what is the value of summoning event usually? 15-20 usd?it varies every event from what i've seen so there's no way of knowing, like sometimes we get tiny ones, then some big ones.
Always wait till event, at least beside pulling epic you will get some guarantee value.

I opened 5 sacreds (2 from level 60 pack for $100, 1 from hitting level 60, 1 from dungeons challenge reward and 1 from monthly reward)
All epics, none worth using. Then like an idiot I think ok just bad luck i will open my voids and it will make me feel better if I pull a legend from them....all rares, then I say omg no one can be this unlucky I have 13 ancients I will just open 10 pack.... all rares, then I say well i came this far may as well open the last 3....junk
Morale of the story don't do what i did, save for an event so at least you get something even if its just some energy...
This was the most ripped off I have ever felt from a game even though I only spent $100 I still value a sacred at about $25 each as thats about how much they sell em for.... and I bought No Man's Sky and Fallout 76 both at launch.
