couldnt u try replacing ninja with a shielder like miscreated monster? would probably improve ur survivability and success rate , just let the burn do the damage.

Miscreated Monster seemed to work equally well in place of ninja.

im not sure about the shield set but if you build him high crit rate and damage his a3 shield scales off the amount of damage he does, and because hes hitting all those spiders he can form a pretty beastly shield from it, but if the shield set is working and giving you better success rate then go for it.
