I did take the advice to heart when it was given... do not use up Mystery Shards, save them! And that I could get common food champs for silver instead. So now I have over 1000 mystery shards. I know they are for something? A fusion? And now we do have a fusion events. Should I use them for the Summon Rush? Is that why it was suggested that I hoarde them? thanks
You should use them for Summon Rush during fusions, yes. Ofc, that is if you are doing the fusion, and if you cannot finish it with better shards, or wish to save the better shards for 2x events.
In theory, you could have gotten Michinaki by popping 10'000 mystery shards, no other resources required.
In practice, it's of course better to use a few hundred each event.

I'd say OP should continue saving for a better fusion.
I took the advice to heart. My first successful fusion was Tormin . I opened over 4,900 greens to get him. That was over 4?years ago and I still pop him in almost every single day.
the value of greens goes down as you progress, especially in demon lord. But it never hurts to have a decent hoard.

This was how I got Brogni, which was an account changer of course. :)
There's been quite a few high value fusions that I'd be happy telling folks to build their accounts around in the past few years. If you're ever curious when it's time to get carpal tunnel from - whether it be from a special guaranteed like Michinaki or a higher value fusion - feel free to ask around the forum, OP. :)

Trips, it turns out this Summon Rush needs 2150 points and green is only 1 pt, so I'm out anyway; not enough resources for Bessie.
BOTH Summon Rushes combined would take 4,300 mystery shards, or 215 ancient shards, or 40 void shards, or 5 sacreds, JUST to get the minimum.
Because you don't want to spend silver on summons?

Bluestacks, record macro. That's probably easiest way to go. Pretty sure that's what some of the 10k Michinaki gang used.
Every fusion that I have done was 2-5k of greenies. I use them first and save better shards for future fusions or 2x. Its relaxing for me to crack a few thousand.

Technically 3500 mystery shards are all that are needed. That gets you extra fragments and you can skip the other Summon Rush.
It's possible I could have 3500 saved up two or three fusion events in the future.

Don't forget that yellows are worth 500 apiece, and purples 120. Those go a long way to minimizing the pain of carpal-tunnel-greens
