I am in a clan now but am thinking of switching. Will that impact my DT progression? Can I pick up right where I left off going into the new clan?
I was thinking that the new clan may be on a different rotation so it may not sync.

doom tower rotations are the same across the board. changing clans won't have any impact.

furthermore the only places moving a clan will truly affect you is clan boss (no rewards if you leave before reset)
hydra (same thing, and lose your keys until hydra reset.)
clan quests (forfeit unfinished ones upon leaving).

One additional note; if you move to a clan of higher or lower level it can affect which slots are available for spending clan gold on rewards.

Yup. Wednesday after Hydra reset the "optimal" time. Just make sure you don't pick up any clan quests on Tuesday before you move.
