Where do you want to use him most?  Books are kinda irrelevant to the build relative to how'd you'd build him for a certain area. IMO

Hydra - Relentless or Provoke sets, focus on speed and survivability with high accuracy.  Crit rate is beneficial but not mandatory.

Dungeon Wave Control - Stun set, high speed and survivability.  Only need 230 or so accuracy.

Solo - Regen or Toxic + Immortal.  Again high speed and survivability with just enough accuracy needed to land burns.

right now hydra (mainly do the first level) and dungeon waves so i can start working on hard.  

i did not want to waist enery getting the sets if it will not work without books. i just wish i kept some of Relentless or Provoke Stun  sets lol.  I just have to work on dungeons to get those sets.

i diddnt have anything great to put him in either but he works good for me in 2 x 2 immortal sets and a speed set, relentless probably the only set that compensates a little bit for no books.

If I remember correctly his CDs are only 4 turn when unbooked so as long as he is sufficiently fast you'll still rotate like abilities pretty quickly.  

If youre only doing Normal Hydra I think he's good enough to run unbooked for the time being.

yea mines in some persion set (acc set).  he got over 240 acc but low hp.  but i ran out of silver to level the gear.  

I went heavy HP stats gear with ACC and speed / less than 50% crit

He helped  me complete Orc Faction wars end  boss :))
