FYI as far as relickeeper and broad maw, that's actually a very good thing for champion chase events.  I have enough of the food champs to fuse about 4 relickeepers and maybe 7 or 9 broadmaws right now.  That's tons of points for fusions.

Frankly there is an upside to the permanent fusions.
