Hasn't there been two separate, basically identical summon rush events back to back during this CvC? One ended (depending on your time zone) yesterday/today and another one immediately started.
had to do a double take myself when I opened the summon rush and had zero points again ... but it was a new event.
Perhaps this is the cause?

Yeah I'm pretty sure you're right Quinn. I wasn't used to "singular day" summon rushes.

Yep, this is exactly what happened. Not sure I've ever seen that before...🤔
Man. Caveat emptor and all, but this is some dirty, dirty stuff, Plarium. I would 100% be pissed off if I were in your shoes, OP.
You can't even be being serious that having additional Summon Rush events is a bad thing. At the very least I am getting resources for pulling a small amount of shards on each day.
I don't doubt that this could be frustrating, but the timer was clearly displayed on the event page upon entering the game and when going into the event page itself. You can't preach personal responsibility and then absolve someone of any responsibility to do their due diligence.
This was a net positive during a time players are often pulling for no added rewards outside of their pulls, if they don't win their CvCs.

I can, and am, 100% serious that it's a bad thing - because it wasn't announced ahead of time.
If they had said last week, when they announced the 10x schedule for this week, "also, we'll be running a series of special Summon Rush events timed to coincide with these 10x events, so plan accordingly!", then I'd be 100% on board.
But as-is, without the advance notice, I can absolutely see a *lot* of people using some shards on the first day, and then being quite unhappy about the fact that their points expired with that event - given this is, to my knowledge, the *first* Summon Rush *ever* to last only 24 hours.

No duration is ever announced for any event, because the time that each event lasts is diplayed directly on the screen. All you have to do is click the event and your answers are right there.
If you're not looking at how long each event lasts before you start dropping resources on it, and then get angry about your own mistake, that's 100% a lesson to take with you moving forward, not just for Raid, but for general use as well.

It sounds like we do not play a game but should focus on reading the small print...

No matter what happens in this game its the fault of the players.

It's not even the least bit hidden:
Ending time of the Summon Rush events could not be more clearly displayed. Besides being listed next to the name of the event once you click on it, it is literally where you have to click to even see what the event is.
yeah back to back i was hey i got all of this yesterday then oh wait new one oops lol
dropped more sacreds for chickens lol
I was pleased to be able to double up resources myself. I didn't expect the second one but am considering toppping off with some greens before I'm out of time.
You are right in saying it was visible and not hidden or in small print.
I myself also only noticed on the second day at which I wondered why I have a fresh point table as I surely pulled some minor shards the first day.
That teaches to remain alert....for me it was just a routine to check the table...I am/was used to Summon events being severa days so I did not pay attention to the time index. This event was changed from the normal way and I did not caught it.
For those who use plenty of shards it is a win. For Plarium it is a win. For those who planned to only draw a small number of different shards over several days as normal for Summon Shards events....it is a loss.
Well, yes, they did not hide it. Stil it feels a bit sneaky...
