No, Plarium isn't lying to you, it's just a skill that sometimes will not happen over the course of even a long arena matchup due to the fact that Mortu isn't being hit or because the skill is only 20% to occur when Mortu is attacked.

Almost certainly a case of Occam's Razor, with the explanation being your Mortu was lazy and didn't want to kill anything. :)
Being serious, I've seen my Mortu unlock Peril 4/4 in a fight, also seen him miss 10 chances in a row. At 20% it's just gonna end up with a pretty wide range of results from fight to fight. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
yes.. my mortu sometimes doesn't unlock 10 turns in a row, but this was too much, in the end it still succeeded...thx :-))

I think we're just very good at remembering when we're unlucky, rather than the times we fire off 4 Peril's in a row in Arena :)

I have definitely never messaged you with tilt at losing a 5+ minute fight due to Mortu standing there, being an absolute pylon. NOT ME.
