In short, I maxed out Magmablood's skills when I first started playing, long before I knew he wasn't an ideal choice.  Regardless, he is maxed and so now, I hate to toss him.  He hits like a freight train in arena.  Even at 5-stars, he still hits harder than my three other 6-stars, except for Deathless.

With that said, I am wondering if I should be using him or Kael for the normal and hard clan bosses?  I have ascended Kael, but no skill-ups.  I know since the poison is percentage-based, it scales great for the top end clan boss.  However, for normal and hard, not sure if bombs scale high enough to make Magmablood viable or not?  In arena, he hits FAR harder than Kael, but with the boss, not sure.

So, anyone know exactly how bomb works?  Is it just a set amount, or does it scale for a boss as well?  Is Kael always going to be better, even at these lower levels of clan bosses?
