As far as losing your tourney due to the bug, the only thing I can recommend is to open a support ticket and see if they can help you any further. You can do this by clicking your Profile Picture in game, then Info, then Support.

Hello.
I tried to write to support and describing whole situation about lags and missing scores and rewards. Support answered me, that 1) problem is known by devs and they do everything to repair this issue, and 2) compensation was given to all player, and this meaning "no other compensation"
I emailed support as well, went back and forth, it got escalated, and I was told the same, they couldn't do anything about it and I'm stuck with 3v3 refills and CB keys I don't need instead of gear or 7k energy.
Terrible resolution, but also the kick in the ass I needed to distant myself from the game. Definitely done supporting it financially. I have zero faith in their system now and see zero point in putting in effort if their bugs are going to be my problem even when I do everything right.

Honestly, that is such a slap in the face to their players, I've lost so much desire to play this game off of this. Why would I ever spend money on this game when they can just say, oops sorry we messed up. You used 7k energy, here's 500 back and some tag team refills for everyone in the game, now f off.

Agreed, they could at least be more transparent about the situation at a bare minimum.
I'm not sure if it's related, but anytime I create a bug report titled "spider tournament" it doesn't go through. I tried submitting 3 times, all 3 times it says it went through but doesn't show up on my tickets. I changed the title and it worked. Seems like they may be filtering out these tickets?

From what I can gather this was some sort of a random issue or error rather than anything else.
