Hey, Replikate. Are you playing on iOS? We have a reported issue just like yours on some Apple devices, it's something that we are currently looking into.

I use a Sony XZ2 running Android 9. I tried on one of my friends device, a Huawei with Android 8 and its working.

Then please contact Support and provide them with any details they might ask for, it would be extremely helpful to investigate the issue!
