How to get 3 stars on a campaign mission?
I've done the same missions over and over again, but have yet to get 3 stars on it! Can anyone explain what dictates getting 3 stars in a mission?

If you mean rare (blue) champs you just have to keep farming the stage. It’s a low drop rate on them.

I am also having trouble with getting 3 stars. Specifically, Nightmare 9-3 (Deadlands).
I have completed it multiple times with only two champions, none of whom died.
The NPC champions shield up repeatedly, and the champions I have available can neither remove, nor block their buffs, thus it takes me about 10 mins to complete the 3 rounds.
After the rounds complete, it displays as 2 stars, not 3 (no deaths, no revives needed, only two champions).
Could there an unspecified time limit?

I have tried combinations, Stag Knight and Reinbeast the most recent. I believe Apothecary and Miscreated before that.

If it is ten minutes, then I may be able to tweak my setup, I had switched to working on getting Hope and Valla to 60, as it is the shields that keep taking me time to get through.

As far as I know stars dont matter for loot. Just run the highest level you can with your farmer plus 3 food.

I am attempting to obtain the Nightmare campaign rewards, requiring 252 points, 3 stars of each stage of each chapter. In doing so, I was selecting champions for their survivability.
I found that there is a 10 minute limit to earning 3 stars, and few artifact changes, I was able to complete the deadlands stage which was giving me trouble.
Though now I am having a little trouble with 12-7 (Brimstone Path boss) killing one of my champions, preventing the 3-star requirement.

i was having the same problem with the dungeon stars. you have to clear ALL levels with just two champions and without dying!
