Same as above, error 503 as of about 30 mins ago. Now getting server connection failed.
Sorry everyone, I think it's me causing all the issues. Everytime I have an xp boost active something goes wrong... :)

Sorry, Gwydion, we don't have Community Managers working on the weekend or that late at night. However, what game are you referring to? The error description seems like something out of our strategy titles, not Raid.

Hi there guys!
I was playing just until 20 min, then reset hit and suddenly the game started showing connecting failed messages
Is there maintenance going on or are the server simply down?

The game froze at exactly midnight UK time for me. I can't log back in either.

I also cannot log in. Game froze/reset and not I cannot get past the 'sign in' portion of the load bar after opening the app.

I am now experiencing the same issue. It started last night and happens on both my iPad and android phone. I am locked out of the game. The full text of the error I get is:
Connection Error
Server connection failed.
Check your internet connection and try again. If you continue to experience this error, please restart the game.

Me and my girlfriend got kicked out because of apparent server maintenance. But the battles we started did cost energy which isn't refunded. It's not the first time this happens.
Do announce your server maintenance and / or refund lost energy please
