Initial units you won in quests do contains some very special units you can't train until you are about lvl 50-60. So identify them & use them wisely.
Don't forget raiding & individual quests offered to you for 3 hours each along with normal quests given in the game course.
Don't forget catacombs.
join a clan! socialize and talk with other people about stuff in the game and anything else. this is a game and should be used for fun.
never defend until you are familiar with game mechanics. always hide in catacombs.
watch for tournaments, if used correctly it will help you grow.
be very careful with battlegrounds. avoid stashes.
when you are buying emeralds / offers, perceive it as a donation to Plarium (for developing this game and making it "f2p"), not something with any reasonable price/value ratio.
use emeralds by this order:
2nd thrall
walls (upon research)
all stronghold def building to lvl 1
all nord watchers to lvl 4
all turrets and cannons to lvl 2, then 3 and so on.
never ever buy regular units, rarely legendaries (and only when discounted).

What about Saga quest do you do them? Kind of lose a lot of troops even at low lvls
I would say break them down with your lowest level northman until they are defeated. Might take weeks to kill off a saga, but at least you only sacrificed what you can afford to lose to gain a bunch of higher level troops.
For instance - ONLY send spearman and beserkers to offensive sagas, and ONLY maidens and beast masters to defensive sagas, NOTHING ELSE!
This way you can still focus on the other parts of the game with your main troops, while slowly killing off the sagas. Marathon not sprint! ; ))

My humble advice would be hasty to not grow (top level) !!!! When we started we all want to grow and in this game does not make it the best.
You position yourself better in the tops, you have better prizes with less spending and everything is before reaching level 50, and when you get to level 50 of the game's demands are greater.
Daily rewards help them grow, do not use them, if you needed to use it uses large, so you will not need to gain as much experience is what makes you grow level.
I think that's really the question more biggie
(translater google)
my words:
Mi humilde consejo sería no te apresures a crecer (subir niveles) !!!!

Yes, have tried camping in my lvl 30s and 40s for a few weeks myself, but it gets really old really fast because many fun things are tied to XP gain.
Though one can easily live without daily offerings , restraining yourself from PvP and BGs defiantly robs this game out of its major charms. (besides, in order to gain emeralds from ranks in tournaments, which is the goal for camping here, you must gain huge amounts of XP).
