Recently, we announced some improvements to Mods. Here’s what’s new:
👉 Mods unlock for Rank 3 Mechs: Mods are now available once a Mech reaches Rank 3.
👉 Lower prices: The price of obtaining and upgrading Mods for non-Legendary Mechs has been reduced (Common -50%, Uncommon -40%, Rare -30%, Epic -15%).
👉 Adjustments to multi-layered shields: Blockade ML and Perimeter ML Mods now have fewer shield layers, but the total Shield HP remains the same.
👉 Upgrades are tied to Ranks: You can only upgrade Mods up to your Mech’s Rank (e.g., Rank 3 Mech → Level 3 Mods; Rank 4 Mech → Level 4 Mods, etc.)
👉 Resource refunds: If any of your Mods are at Levels that exceed your Mech’s Rank, the extra invested resources will be fully refunded, and the Mods will be downgraded to meet the Mech’s Rank.
Drop your feedback below and let us know how the rework feels!
Hello everyone,
I could be wrong, but I think you only have one like on this post. I hope you're wondering why. For me, there are two points.
1. Mods have taken precedence over the mechs' characteristics.
2. Before, you had to play many hours to access mods; now almost anyone has access.
If you keep it as is, you'll have to rebalance most of the weapons, which have become completely ineffective.

Thanks for sharing this. I get your concerns about mods having a bigger impact now and how that affects balance. We’re keeping a close eye on this and looking at adjustments to make sure both progression and gameplay stay fair.
