We are getting back on track, which means the “What we are working on” digest is back. Let’s dive in.

One of the most frequently asked questions these days is Weapons rebalance. In the nearest future, we are planning to review and make changes to some of the Weapons (this concerns Rocket Mortars and Disc Launcher Implants, too). However, our aim is not to nerf any that are thought to be close to OP, but rather to balance out the ones that are somewhat weaker.  It’s a necessary measure aimed at maintaining balance for players at different stages of development.

Now let’s talk about bots. As you know, we have transformed our matchmaking algorithms recently as a part of the improvement plan for this vital aspect of the game. Please give it time to kick in fully and we will keep monitoring the patterns on our side. We are aware of some “cheats” that players resort to in the light of the recent changes. We are already looking into ways to eliminate this problem. Reviewing and modifying bots is also on our table.

Another important issue that we want to mention today is how to get new content. In the previous “What we are working on” we told you that we are working on new ways to provide content, and it’s true. But before a new system is established, there are three ways to get new content: general Crate Rushes, offers with Mechs and Weapons, and Crate Rushes for A-Coins. We are planning to launch the latter ones more often and provide the most asked for content as rewards in them. Basically, every player has a chance to get new Mechs and Weapons released previously at some stage.

By the way, here’s a nice piece of news - the well-liked Pilot Nova will appear in the Inventory next week! Along with the new Pilot, you will see more Implants added to the Inventory that will be perfect for your Pilots’ career.

One more important topic that we want to cover is the introduction of new game modes and the system of Clans to Mech Arena. We see all players’ comments in this regard and we are fully aware that such additions to the game are highly anticipated by the community! Due to a number of reasons, the release of these new features is not expected in the immediate future. However, you can be sure that Mech Arena team is working on their development for the new modes and Clan system to be naturally implemented in the game.

Finally, we want to address the latest changes to the Shop. We are saddened to see the community’s disappointment over the recent modifications in the Shop offers. Our team sees how the “Bonuses” icon that takes players to the A-coins deals may be viewed as misleading. By no means did we intend to show disrespect to either loyal Mech Arena players or newcomers to the game. The whole thing went in the wrong direction from the start. We are trying to modify all of our offers in an attempt to find patterns that work positively both for the game balance and for players. In order to make up at least a little for the incident with the bonuses, the Mech Arena team has prepared a set of good Special Offers that will come in handy for your Mechs and Pilots’ progress. These Special Offers will be available starting tomorrow!
