Its  done  to  try  to  influence  you.  they  prey  on  your  gamer  drive  to  complete  tasks.  A  percentage of  people  will  purchase  the  coins/crates/weapons  they  "need"  to  complete  the  events.  its  malicious

So clash of clans just got an update which makes all troop training free. It's so crazy how their answer to "why should I have to spend resources to earn resources" is what it should be, that being "you shouldn't". Crazy how in some cases plarium makes you spend money to earn resources through events.

downright criminal what they do it's it's abusive their player base I've spent money on this game and they still they just try to get you to spend more and more they don't give a crap

Good to hear. I'm certain they will find my comments reasonable. As long as they're not involved with monetizing. People like games that reward them for playing. That's "playing" with an "L".
