I'm not sure if Plarium still monitors old topics, but your idea has great potential, i.e., players who are not content creatoes being able to play in the test server.

This could serve as the Mech/Weapon proving grounds, as it were.

It's a lot better than mismatching opponents in the arena to convince the OP mech player that the new purchase is money well spent.

Why not give everyone access to the test server so we all can experience max lvl guns, mechs, pilots, implants, and mod parts and know the right decisions to use and don't buy in the normal game?
