You're supposed to test a game and all of it's features in BETA. Or if you're adding new content to an already and you want the community to help you balance it, you do it on a test server and put it through several iterations of testing if need be. You don't under any circumstances put an untested, unbalanced feature into the live game. When we play games, we don't want to be part of the development unless we consent to it. In the live server we are expecting to play a game with relative balance so playing doesn't get stale.

If what we saw with pilots is the release process for feature and power creep (if, god forbid, there is anymore), I don't look forward to the future of this game anymore.
