Ideas MATCHMAKING and GAME SMALLNESS

Difficulty  matchmaking.


A  difficulty  option  needs  to  exist.  If  a  player  wants  it  hard,  or  a  bit  easier,  they  should  be  able  to  choose,  but  of  course  too  much  choice  can  cause  issues,  so  there  needs  to  be  some  ballance  or  fly  by  wire  that  says  no.  Like  for  example,  going  into  easy  matches  to  wreck  would  actually  make  this  problem  worse,  but  fighting  harder  people  would  be  great.  Basically  a  choice  to  bump  yourself  up  or  down  a  bit  would  probably  be  great.

as  for  the  game  being  to  small  and  easily  gets  booring,  having  your  guns  be  able  to  be  upgraded  in  color ,  not  just  stars  would  be  good.  Some  weapons  might  have  to  downgrade  a  bit  before  upgrading,  and  others  the  boosts  that  come  along  would  end  up  getting  removed.

another  idea  is  my  legue  idea.  Once  you  get  10,like  10  or  1,  you  get  into  newb  league,  where  the  game  tells  you  now  have  an  extra  level  in  addition  to  the  medals  or  battle  ranking,  and  you  are  permanently  locked  i  to  newb  legue.  It  would  be  great  for  the  league  stuff  to  be  at  the  end,  but  once  you  unlock  it,  the  legue  migrates  to  in  front  of  your  battle  grade,  scrolling,  and  then  giving  the  message  About  being  locked  in  and  half  the  info.  Then  you  have  to  gain  starter.  Then  you  become  a  starter  once  you  get  a  bit,  like  10,100  and  the  same  thing  again.  Then  more  info  is  given  and  the  newb  is  grayed  out.  Then,  finally  you  become  beginner  and  its  after  10k  like  normal,  and  it  is  locked  too.  Last  bit  of  info  maybe  and  you  can  go  back  down.  Maybe  you  can  legue  down  to  newb  or  starter  if  you  derank  too  much,  but  one  is  permanent.  It  would  just  give  more  rewards  on  top  of  your  rank,  and  you  would  have  more  to  aim  for  and  not  need  be  too  hard,  you  can  get  there  by  grinding  or  being  good.

Interesting ideas.  I do like the league's idea although it might need to be amended.  The only issue I have is that leagues should really be for the low to mid tier.  I think once you get past a certain point and you are in end-game content then dividing up the player base further would be conter productive.  Especially since players are wanting more player vs player combat instead of player vs bot.

Interesting ideas.  I do like the league's idea although it might need to be amended.  The only issue I have is that leagues should really be for the low to mid tier.  I think once you get past a certain point and you are in end-game content then dividing up the player base further would be conter productive.  Especially since players are wanting more player vs player combat instead of player vs bot.

You need something to divide harshly along the lines of squad power for matchmaking. Squad power and xp maybe it keeps players from manipulating their hangar size for favorable matchmaking but it's something everyone can do. By consequence it gives favorable matchmaking to p2p and that's why player base is upset and pilots only made the power gap between f2p and p2p even larger. Paying isn't something everyone can do. People are f2p for a reason. Not that paying some even matters. Because p2w means pay more win more. And pocket change doesn't win much more than f2p.

Squad power and xp was a mistake. More experienced players with under-powered hangars might be able to take advantage of this but then you just make matchmaking squad power and skill. You know how many underskilled people I get matched with that are just there because they're similar in xp progress to me? It's way too many. Squad power and skill. Squad power and skill.

This game already has many measures of skill, most notable one being win/loss ratio. It's not perfect but it brings players of similar skill closer already.

Bbmech has a point, experience alone is a very poor match up when P2P is thrown in. Squad power helps and some further kind of evaluation would be good to avoid friction with user base.

Take this tournament match for example, it cant be a great experience for either side here for these groups to be matched. The high end user has to use no strategy as is basically unkillable and that will be boring quick. While the lower users get extremely frustrated as theres little that can be done about the high end user even as a team based on the sheer difference in power.

Why don't you let your developers to fix the matchmaking before putting in new ideas? "Not p2w" and "fair matchmaking" huh?

 why  would  the  leagues  divide  the  player  base?  You  dont  have  to  do  the  match  up  the  same  as  the  legue,  after  all,  when  you  loose  you  play  with  bad  players.  It  just  gives  you  more  togeind  for  and  get  rewarded  for.  

plus,  adding  a  fly  by  wire  play  harder  or  easier  option  would  help  in  dividing  or    otdividing
