Arachnos need a turret buff bad

Simple as the title this mechs turret should be able to roam a small radius and need a fair damage buff

I think the reason so many people dislike it is because it is a VERY VERY passive ability.  Other then where you drop it you can't control who it targets, when it targets them.

It is also easily countered by letting it active and fire at you then backing away behind a corner or wall.  Wait 6 second and it deactivates.  So the ability can be counterd by back peddeling.

The only good way I have found to make use of it is pairing it with thermal lance to increase its damage and statis beam so they can't back away.

Well the attack message in the messages screen would be a good way to give the player the ability to select a priority target I feel like also it should be bigger and actually interfere with a player or even a bots ability to pass it.. if it were real you wouldn't be able to just walk through it.

And it does look bulky on the back of the Arachnos mech so even more reason for it to be larger, so it will actually look more uniform

Hell maybe even give it the ability to drop 2 since spiders really carry their babies on there back

And remove the 6 second timer give them a health bar they need to be destroyed to remove them from the field.

Thinking about it this sounds like a much needed rework
