(anyone else have an issue with double inputs when trying to post from a mobile device?)
This happened last Tournament too and the problem I have with checking details are:
1) not my job - There really should be something in place that checks game time against points or something similar. If I start scrutinising each winner with bulk points, where does it stop?
2) there is no pay off for me pretending to be a mod for a game that is trying it's best to coax money out of me without giving me a balanced and fair game to begin with.
What I think it comes down to is the ability of the Devs in creating a balanced system. This game has been out for over a year and looking through patch notes, a few things have been altered but there hasn't been any significant benefits to any changes made. It's just made things 'different'.
I have reported so many players in the last 2 weeks for absolutely legitimate reasons (wire frame hacks, one shot beams, infinite ammo ect.) and as far as I can work out, the players are also their own umpires in this game.
I want to love this game, I really do. But the chat function is trash and unmonitored (multiple languages in English servers, soliciting minors, buying/selling a-coin...), The matchmaking is a bot filled unbalanced mess, and the purchases compared to working for the weapons are literal months of work apart.
Surely the framework for a good game can be seen here. It just needs an entire redux from the ground up. I'm a marketing exec for one of Australia's largest media companies... It's my job to break things down for clients so they can maximise their potential profits and this would be a brilliant opportunity for the Devs to reach out and get some quantitative and qualitative research results.
There has to be something we (the players) can do to increase the quality of gameplay beyond blind reporting and micromanaging potential cheat accounts.
