I totally agree with you, we shouldn't forget that this is just a game. 

I get that sometimes.

I do not hunt names generally, just targets of opportunity. I do revenge kills like anyone might, but some ( likely immature ) players just want to have a fit. One guy was an absolute stalker.

To be fair though, I do regularly get players killed twice X 3, a couple players killed up to five times, maybe just because they are spawning in the same convenient spot.

I often laugh, thinking "oh, I bet that guy hates me..." Sometimes the other side decided they have had enough of me and half the team goes on a suicide mission to take me out.

Let's face it, I have essentially been the serial executioner of the game, lol...

Well somtimes you have to hunt players.  When I play a match against a good human player and the rest of the team are bots, I will target that player.  Some players are ruthless on your team and will rack up major kills.  A good example would be the player running a Zephyr that is ambushing your bot teammates at a specific location.  You have the eliminate him before he racks up kills and forces a loss on you.

Also, if another player has taken me out a few times, hiding behind a wall with javelins, you will kinda have to be a ass and drop some mortars on his head LMAO.
