Speed up all mechs 30%?

%Faster mechs make more intense battles and a better chance to use the terrain bouncing off 1 cover to the next trying to flank or retreat. This will also help to get that second or third mech into the frey before the clock runs out while keeping the same quick game system of play. We have all been there you played to the last 20 seconds and they finally got you by the time you get into another mech and start walking back toward the battle field and the game is over. This game should be the arena for mechs and should not emulate other games for realism with slow titans it should be an escape from those games. We are piloting mechs in war if we assume they have to be slow for realism its nothing more then our lack of imagination since nothing like this actually exists what have we been comparing them to. So evey mech speeds should be increased by the 30% it doesn't seem like alot but it should atleast be a good start. If every mech has the same percentage increase they will still be faster or slower compared to each other equally and will take very little away from their international design.

I am kind of mixed and undecided on the topic.  If I had to take a stance I would suppose I lean towards the no category for an "all the time movement speed increase".  I think it would create a unintended threshold from a ping and latency perspective where players with moderate to slow internet would get phased out of the game because of lag and DC's.  As an ability use I am okay with it.

I also think a secondary effect could also be a drastic skill increase for hitting targets which might dissuade newer players for being too difficult.  Some people like the darksouls gameplay style right from the start but for a mobile game I think it should easy players into the play.  

I am not sure how best to overcome these issues but overall I am a fan of fast competitive gameplay.  Perhaps slowly increase the speed of the game as players level up?  Like at player level 10 or whatever the game goes full speed and under it is reduced.  Doesn't really address the ping and latency issue but maybe someone else will come up with an answer for that.

As for death timers I am fine with them.  It is a penalty of sorts for the death that you are missing out on a small part of the action.  I am not opposed to having them cut down in time-span but I don't think they should be eliminated.

I  dont  think  so.  The  scout  mechs  are  hard  to  hit  close  range  as  it  stands  now.  Making  them  faster  would  make  them  nigh  impossible  to  hit.  However  the  tanks  could  do  with  a  small  boost  though  30%  is  probably  excessive.  Just  my  opinion,  I  guess  thats  why  the  forums  exist.

I don't believe a speed increase is warranted.  I agree with Rescue's comments. 

Developing new skills within the current game framework is part of the experience IMHO.   Part of that is deciding which bots you're playing i.e., the mix of speeders and tanks you send out.   You adjust your strategy based the map, the reds, and your game objectives. 

And if the game is slowed and requires more resources there would be player attrition.  Obviously something Plarium  wants to minimize.

I dont disagree with your point on lag i realize some players dont have the connection speed for this game as it is but this game already favors those with better connection speed. Shadow effects for starters gives a player alot of incites and we have all seen a mech you show as turned away example would be ramming someone with killshot then running behind them and yet somehow they are hitting you i can only assume on their screen screen they are facing you atleast i hope. Sounds from others abilities can also give you incites on what kinds of mechs are around you if you know what to listen for but all these are added to make this game better not to please those who cant use them. If we want a game like no other and stands out from all the others we should have higher standards if we want a game everyone can play with whatever they have to play on we would be playing pong. I do however like the proposal to make this more focused towards higher end players and allow time for players to get proficient before the real ARENA starts. So lets increase speed as you increase divisions or mech lvls as some games already have although i believe those games never go far enough and they still bolster lethargic mechs.

As for snipers and other weapons becoming less efficient i dont disagree either but we should be asking ourselves if they are to easy as it is. A good sniper getting 19 kills in agora and denying the other team almost any kills is overpowering ill link a picture of what this looks like after. The fact is when a sniper has an open field and everyone is moving at a snails pace at a distance the 30per would not be felt nearly as much. distance from a person reflects as a percentage how fast the target is perceived to be moving want and example look up at a plane does it appear to be moving 500% faster then the car on the road.  now if they get closer the 30per would be felt hard but this is only natural a sniper that lets a mech get in close should become very inefficient so i dont see an issue with making snipers a little harder. This is what you say might be made a little harder and yes my ingame name is Fire4Effect. Im sure ill do just fine if the sniper requires just a little more skill maybe ill only get 12-15kills and perhaps the other team might get more then 2 which lets face it were probably bots running at the enemies because of lack or targets can only imagine what its like for the ai when whenever a target appears they are one or 2 shotted.

We can debate the degree of difficulty and the standards for this game im open to suggestions but the fact remains something needs to change otherwise this game wont stand out it will become a new version of every other game with no notable differences from dino,  war robots or robot warfare if this game sits in the comfortable positions as those other games those players from those games will have no reason to swap one platform for another when they have already invested so much time and money in their current game. Lets be real most players we currently have playing this game are disappointed ex war robots players who finally had enough of the money grabs this game offered something different a chance to pay or play which in war robots didn't exist it was pay only. In that same aspect if this games only difference is the lower cost to play then the development of new content will be notably and understandably be impacted and not in a good way so i propose this game gives something different so we can attract more kinds of players from those games. We need to give them another experience something they will find skill is required you can't just buy an 80$ hawk sit behind a building and get first place  this game wont allow it yes you can spend money but skill will always win out here and an easy way to make that happen is speed

Speed means you cant be the best player by paying for it you can have the best mech but if someone runs circles around you targeting you inbetween taking cover you will lose. If there is any other solutions that would be as easily implemented and would have the same outcome im all ears please tell me. Players who want to prove they are the best are attracted we dont have pong parties we have call of duty ones. Fans flock to a game that puts the lower skill players in their place and doesn't allow them to buy their way to the top and PLARIUM KNOWS THIS. This is why the ad for this game is speedy and intense please tell me what caught your eye when you decided to play this game for me it was that ad. I would imagine pubg and call of duty make more money off of skins that dont give you an advantage in game then mech games do selling you the best mechs with the best weapons that allow you to sit back and pretend to have skill. So in this regard both player and developer win. Yes they can still make money off selling weapons but players will realize skill is still a necessity to play and paying is just extra
