Mech arena needs something to reward dedicated grinders, like consistently. Not tournaments, not [pay]off events. Consistent, guaranteed rewards for grinding. No limits. And you know why? Well first of course because it would be nice. But second, bots.

Mech arena gets around 1 million users active daily. But it constantly has to fill out matches with bots. War robots gets approximately the same with the limited information I could find. But they don't have to fill out matches with bots. And you know why? Because they don't limit how much they reward players for simply playing matches. There would be a lot less bots in mech arena matches if people had a reason to keep playing.
