I was just in a showdown with this player teamed up with me. They were using a Parasite. They were geared decently. So when I killed one of the other players, it was 1 on 1 for him, he could have used his ability and killed the other player easily. I sat there and watched as they never used their ability the entire match. The mech he was going against was a Dreadnought, so no chances of dispelling it. I just hate teaming with d*******s like this. Unless they were playing against a buddy.
