Apparently they're adding some sort of guard rails finally or IDK. I don't know what they're doing because the devs aren't being super transparent with this but I explained we can't have people matching up against those with double their hangar power or builds that are more than twice as strong as their best. I asked if they were implementing guard rails to prevent such a thing and Drew said something like that.

Assume Plarium is not stupid and they wanna make money. Then see the result of this strategy. Either people invest money to get better, play more or quit. In all cases, it is good for Plarium. Fewer players that do not pay, more active players and more money :)

Same with other games. I mean, making some money is fine, but it goes overboard.

They introduce weapons completely out of balance. Players buy them for cash or earn them by playing a lot. Then they get nerfed, and a new weapon comes into the game. It is not always like this, but some weapons or bots were so strong that many players saved up a lot to get them, only for them to be nerfed after. 

Similar to fixing the Deathwalker problem. Instead of nerfing it a bit, they completely destroy the meta with overpowered Outlaw. People will save up for it because a team without it will be weak. In a few weeks, it will get nerfed because it will transform the game into a camp fest.

Here I am on my new account which isn't even 2 months old yet. My squad is at 3199 and inventory power of 7520. And I get matched with this??? Their mechs are all 5 and 6 stars. Oh look, mods on all. I don't get how someone that works on this game just doesn't understand. My hanger is balanced how drew said, all my mechs are 3 or 4 stars. In no way does my squad equal this squad.

I know that no one would believe it, but here is another one. 

Every mech and almost every weapon there is maxed out. One weapon is one level away from maxed out. So how can I, with no mechs even close to being maxed out, have the same matchmaking that they do, going against players 7000 lower squad power then me????????

Everyone believes it. Everyone knows it. Plarium included. They're obviously doing it deliberately. For all their talk about fixing matchmaking over the last many years, the simplest thing they could have done is prevented people with huge SP disparities from being matched together. But they don't do that. They obviously want it to happen.

Hi folks! The Matchmaking updates are in progress. I'm sorry to see such drastic SP differences and hope they improve.

Talking about the balance, we are making the Meta wider. The rebalance waves are only the beginning; more interesting updates are on the way. It's gonna be interesting 👌

You have said that exact same thing about a year ago with matchmaking updates, so how are they in progress?? I have not seen one thing that has changed.

And with drastic SP differences, I have been posting stuff like this for a while now.

Just to add a couple more. These were both on a team together against me. I will add that the other player on my team had a squad power of 4909. Again, my current squad power on the account this happened is 3201.
