Founding player returning

I put the game on notification for release as soon as I found out about it coming out. Ive been playing it ever since. I was determined to be free to play and then I finally caved in and told myself "you never spend money on things you want to do. Always the family...." well....more money than I realized later....lol. and I ended up taking a break from the game due to life changes. I played off and on here and there but didnt get back into it like I was before until recently. I decided to spend money to catch my hangar and my sons up a bit from the new stuff that has come out. I'm super thankful we were grandfathered in as mechs that can have mods at rank 3 because if not it would be very nerve wrecking. But now...things are getting nerfed that people have spent money to use....and im wondering if spending the money was a good idea. And I see here that a lot of people are saying the same thing. I DO NOT want this game to shut down from everyone leaving. SO: I've thought of some solutions that might appease the devs and the players alike.

The devs say they want to do a rebalance due to all the new stuff being used etc. How about a rule of if something you put out is too powerful and its something people spent cash for, offer the next weapon free for those players. Boom. Win win. No one loses their money. Everyone gains. You keep all the same players and gain more because word gets out that if something gets messed up you get compensated by getting the next one free.

Also. I have a suggestion since the game went from xp to unlock mechs to a progression system: a mech in the progression system will cost 9,000 some odd A coins. So when you offer the lesser version for real world money/game code/ event etc, it has to be upgraded a lot to get up to that same level. I understand you make money that way. Players get easier access to the mechs that way. Its a win win. HOWEVER I noticed if there's an event to get a mech that you already own or an offer to buy it in a set offer, its the 9000 something a coins instead. More often than not this is cheaper than buying the a coin packs etc. But I got to thinking. If someone has a mech that is lower level than what it would be than to get it from the gear hub, in the gear hub it should still show A coins that are prorated based on where their mech is to get up to that level. This would help with game leveling as well. For instance, my son who had a rank 2 onyx hasnt been able to use him for awhile because he's just now getting into tier 7. WHY? Because I love my Onyx so when it popped up for him to buy the lesser version I did. But, with his lack of legendary drops, its still stuck at that spot. Once he gets to tier 8 and has the other mechs his will be severely underpowered, have to spend credits etc like crazy to level up and HOPE TO GOD we find blueprints. OR: we could have not spent any real world money and saved up his A coins the whole time. So....how about when he unlocks tier 8 it says Onyx- 7,240 A coin or something instead of 9,400. While the others will say 9400 still because he doesn't have that one unlocked yet.

This way players can level themselves out and balance the game better for the mechs.

Also, you say that players dont use the older mechs and weapons so youre buffing them: GOOD here's an idea for that. Instead of paragon having a speed ability, and meh health, but great power....let's change him up a bit to have more players use him

NEW Paragon: Hobby Mech

You put together this Mech yourself from parts you found in a scrapyard (thus why you start with it) its the minimum class that's needed for the Arena. As you progress the Mech can be changed.

Max him out to purple stars (or unlock all mech tiers) then the stats start increasing with xp earned with the Mech. Think of it as a veteran system for the mech. Hp increases, speed increases

Add an ability mod. Instead of him only having the speed boost he could have a shield or weapon ability option as well. Maybe something like hardened shell, that makes bullets and damage deflect 10% of damage taken off into an area around the mech while active, absorb 80%of damage, and allow Paragon 1s of total invulnerability

Weapon could be something like: paragon's hull becomes super charged and causes electrical arcs to any mechs within a radius, increasing in damage depending on the amount of mechs within the vicinity. 2-150% 3-200%, 4-250, and in the rare chance that all 5 mechs are within paragons radius it increases to 800% and self detonates Paragon.

Or something to that effect.

Also we should be able to exchange resources- for instance i have over 1k of blueprints for paragon...thats already maxed. How about 100 blueprints exchanged for 10acoin or 1k credits, or 100 blueprints for 10 universal blueprints

I really like the idea of allowing people to pay the difference (in terms of acoins or credits as the case may be) for a low-rank item that otherwise would have been obtained at a higher rank in the gear hub.

The difference needn't be dependent on how you obtained the item. It can be a simple fixed amount for the difference in rank, dependent only on how much it costs in the gear hub. You can sort of achieve that today with rank-ups, but

1. rank-ups need blueprints as you mentioned, apart from credits and acoins.

2. rank-ups don't account for items that would have only cost credits in the gear hub (most recent disaster for many of us being Solis :-) ).
