Playoff Events Leaderboards

I see some of these leaders and their number one scores and I struggle to understand how they are able to reach them, given the day lasts 24hrs and some objectives have daily limits on them (like the "Complete 1 Daily Objective").

Any ideas on what trick I am missing apart from the obvious one, namely no-lifing my way to the top?

To the moderators (@CrystalDrew), can a view be added to the Leaderboard section of the Playoff Events, where you can see a split of points achieved against each objective? i.e. in an event with 4 objectives, the leader with 250k points in the number one spot, you can check how many of the 250k points were scored for each of the 4 objectives.

It's beyond just no-lifing. Players will share accounts to do these events so an account can be online for 24 hours a day grinding. Some playoff event objectives you can save for too so I imagine many people save resources to spend specifically during playoff events. And since you can often spend resources for points you can also buy resources meaning you can pay for points. AKA pay to win. Which is why I call them payoff events

thanks for your insight, the account sharing I should have thought of, the rest I am aware of and I guess accept as part of the game. What really prompted me to ask the question is a specific, 4 objective event, with these objectives:

* Compleat 1 Daily Objective (s) - + 15 points (that's an example of daily limits I mentioned above)

* Earn 100XP - +20 points (this one has no limits, so as you say can be farmed 24/7)

* Upgrade Mechs or Weapons1 time(s) - +25 points (this one is limited really on an account with 25k games played, as you will not have a lot of mechs to upgrade at that point)

* Login on 4 Days - +350 points (can't really abuse this one can you?)

...I have seen these playoffs being won by players hitting 250k points, so that's why I am curious, seeing the 250k points split between these four objectives will let you have a view on whether it's  multi-life-no-life as you nicely put it, or simply abuse of some sort?

Hello! Sorry for the late reply, we will take into account your "a split of points achieved against each objective" idea, but to put it bluntly, it's highly unlikely that the team will have time and effort to develop something like that, as we have more high-priority tasks to work on.

Uhm drew did you even read anything? He's wondering if these players may be abusing in the playoff event.

You could have any amount of mechs to upgrade at 25k battles, given you can just buy resources. And mech and weapon upgrades are 25 points. In addition these playoffs go on for about a month. But I still do wonder if these high point counts are possible.
