I can verify this 100%.

Unfortunately, the described issues are happening due to the flexibility of our balance and the Matchmaking abusers. See, Mech Arena allows a player to combine the weakest and the most powerful Content together (e.g., a Common Mech may be equipped with a Legendary Weapon, etc), which makes it harder for the system to pair them with appropriate opponents. To make matters worse, manipulations with Squad Power may make this mechanic perform even more poorly.

Our team is aware of such issues, and we are working on their fix! Stay with us as the adjustments are coming gradually 🙂

Yeah, but the mechanics of your game allow it still even though it makes the game unplayable. That needs to be fixed yesterday and if that's not possible at least a warning screen should come up saying that doing such a thing will make the game unplayable.

I upgraded the mod shields on one of my mechs "too much" and whenever I add them, I get murderbot opponents. Apparently its down to my squad being too unbalanced when the mod shield is installed. It's just a rare mech as well, which makes it feel worse!

If you do it to a legendary it permanently destroys game play no matter what squad you field afterwards.

I think players found a fix by balancing the upgrades in their own hangars you could encourage that by selling fully curated hangars as a package but if you did that for any reasonable leap in progress and people saw the prices of it they wouldn't pay it with prices being at what they are now.

I think it's funny how Drew say "Mech Arena" lets us put any hanger combo together when in actuality it's the "developers" that allow it.. and then Drew adds in before and after that, blames things on "Abusers" "Manipulators" when the truth is ALL the problems are due to the greed of the team in charge of Mech Arena. Stop blaming the community, it's not our fault the game is programmed by the development team to be rigged.. The game cheats, people are trying to figure out ways to NOT be cheated out by the game, the game Mech Arena is using and abusing it's community and you're blaming it on the community as usual. This game is ran and managed in the most scummy ways and it's blatantly obvious in the gameplay experience and reading Drews responses.
