Bots focusing fire on human players

Please make the bots fire randomly, or however you prefer! We've been putting up with fighting bots that outgun us, outnumber us, and on top of that, most matches are against them, so we have to put up with 9 vs. 1? A game should be fun, not frustrating! I don't think it's too much to ask., thanks.

Hello! Indeed, some bots might be more focused on the real players, as users have more strategic and tactical advantages, unlike the bots. We are working on their AI, but still, compared to players, their abilities are limited.

THIS is what you say, it is clear that the situation is very different from how you describe it. The BOTS have 1 advantage ALWAYS HIT THE TARGET, add that they always have weapons AT MAXIMUM POWER... the poor human player, who by natural law his reaction and aim, is not perfect with every shot. can you compare a normal player against a BOT player managed by AI, who knows exactly how to hit without missing., therefore INFALLIBLE AIM, DEGAN OF THE BEST AMBIOT PROGRAM, POWER OF THE WEAPON, add their MECH ...? NO' you can't make this comparison, Because what you don't consider, is that the BTO has 'an objective, and runs towards its objective,, while the human must manage the BOT, and human opponent/s.. WHILE THE bot DOESN'T KNOW THAT HE WILL DIE, the human does, this is missing in your SUPER BOT. the awareness of being a SUICIDE BOT, with a very specific task.. your AI will never be able to have this feeling of failure.

honestly making bots that work for every match isn't easy, there are tons of weapons, mechs, pilots and combinations to fomr with al lthese things.

i see the problems with both maxing and having a lower level weapons set up on bots, especially because of how difficult they are to setup. if this game was more like unreal with no change in weapons, its easier to setup, with in mech arena that isn't the case...

for example, if the mech  and weapons are low, with its ai not properly setup, it will likely get blasted to pieces fairly quickly or even have it that the other player has no proper allies that can defend them. on the other hand, if they are max or near max level, they'll be able to hold their ground but at times may do so too well by being bullet sponges or hitting your mech perfectly in a way that your mech gets destroyed in a second or two.

the maps are also all different, and the ai could perhaps be setup the same way as in the video game fear, but since not every match is the same this could be difficult and pose some problems and even put mroe strain the the servers perhaps? but this is may point of view on all of this.

Thanks for your comment! Appreciate understanding the complexity of the issue and your suggestions. We are working on the bots and the Matchmaking system overall; the huge updates are coming 🔜

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Stop this nonsense of bots focusing their fire on humans! It's ridiculous! Frustrating! What's the point of investing time in the game if, despite having maxed-out mechs and weapons, I get a target painted on my forehead as soon as I appear? And please Crystaldrew, don't answer me with the lie that their ability is more limited. I realize that they see me through walls, they avoid my volleys, they wait hidden and camp. They are by no means more limited! We still put up with being pushed around and taking concentrated fire (I could handle them standing in front of me for half an hour and blocking my shot), I could handle them not helping me while they're focusing on me, healing me every now and then, or them randomly putting up a wall or a shield. Now I'm seeing something new too: they're shooting at walls until their magazines are empty like idiots, proof that they can see behind walls, by the way.  Stop all this!!! None of this will make you eran less money, on the contrary.

It's not the mech and weapon setups that is the issue. It is how they react in the match. They sometimes stand still and spin in a circle, while other times they target human players with pinpoint percision. I've withness bot break off enguaged combat just to spin around to take shots at me. I'm not taking about targeting switching targets, I am taking like being completely away from their current facing and them turning to focus fire on me at a distance. The rounds are rigged to make a player/team lose or win. Either by bot manipulation or out guned by equiptment/mechs.

The last game was the straw that broke the camel's back. Bots dodging my disruptors while they were behind a wall. STOP! Remove the bots' ability to see through walls!

Honestly I must be playing a different game, as my experience is, and always has been, that bots are easier to win against that human players:) Yes mismatches of my power vs the power of bots do happen, but very rarely, and in all the other cases where they don't I honestly find the bots easier to play against as they are so predictable. @CrystalDrew, do the bots use the same algorithms across the globe or do they differ in the UK where I am compared to, say, the US?

I think it's a bit of both. Bots are getting better (they've started hiding when reloading, for example, and also sometimes are more aggressive than they used to be), but I agree with you that overall they are still usually easy to win against.

At the same time the other posts are right about some of the other stuff. They seem to be able to see through walls, have insane sniping skills even against mid-air mechs, Solis's blind ability (I forget its name) does not actually blind the bots, and sometimes they become overly aggressive against the human player.

Despite all of this being my experience as well, I haven't had the kind of frustrating experiences the other posters have had. I might lose an occasional game or two because of bots' super powers, but it's not so frequent as what they appear to be facing. The current state of bots in my games has been pretty manageable.

Yes I accept their experience has differed. I find that generally the aim assist, which can't be fully switched off even on PC, also helps human players aim, because I get shot at with equal accuracy by humans and bots alike when on my super powered airborne range Lancer!

Again, to me, whether they hide for reload, or advance at you, it's still all predictable, and that in itself is a huge edge over opponents, whether human or machine.

It would be great to see some videos of people getting pwned by these bots - obviously excluding cases with power (whether it's weapon / mech / mods or implants) mismatch as that's a match making issue, rather than a bot OP issue. Well, to me at least.
