Tournament Test
Alrightly, so the tourney test.
Personally, my experience hasn't all been that great. It was fine for the first heat or so, and especially in that first heat I noticed some of the players I was against and with were significantly weaker than my usual opponents (they were around my SP, if not a little lower in contrast to ~3k more)
When the third heat came around, that's when it became quite unfun.
I would frequently and consistently fight either maxed out nomads with ember gun, or eclipses with revoker (or both lol).
A little less (given that I probably didn't notice sometimes), we had something similar on our own team.
Often though, it would not help to stop the partial-steamrolling.
I say steamrolling, though that's probably and exaggeration.
I was able to put up a little resistance, alongside my team, but very really could we very defeat such an opponent, and even more rarely did they lack something even stronger.
I know I won at least a few matches, but it was definitely a struggle and more of a rare occurrence than it arguably should be.
Heat 4 is where it became very difficult to get anything done.
I would very quickly be killed by revoker, storm rack and so on, by enemy players with highly leveled mods and implants.
I would write what happened for heat 5 and 6, but I stopped playing after that, as it wasn't possible to climb the leaderboards to anything worth my time.
Now I don't know if I've just gotten unlucky, but recently the FFA tournament has been largely the same experience.
I believed this test was for a week, which has since concluded.
In most of my matches, the enemy players were incredibly leveled and powerful.
This isn't exactly helped by the max bots that are now also present.
Not present because of my level, but present because of the level of my opponents.
Anyway that's my rant or whatever over, what's yall experience been like?
