I'm fairly new. I did the events where you can earn an Arachnos and Cryobeam (can't remember the actual name). Since then it's been a few months and there haven't been any events where you can win mechs or weapons, it's all just crates and tokens. Is this how it'll be from here on?
There was a lacewing event playoff, but it was weeks ago
Outside of the introduction period, completing derby events never has mechs or weapons as the final prize. They become part of events where hundreds or thousands of players compete against each other for a chance at them.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Direct mech/weapon rewards seem less common now, but they still pop up occasionally in limited-time events. Hopefully we see more of those again.
