So in light of the wonderful news that we can freely remove and try mods, I removed them all from my main mech. Only to realize it's implants that are free to shuffle around, not mods.
In this small lapse I lost roughly 2k elite mod parts along with the regular ones. I don't suppose you could first laugh at me, then somehow magically undo my mistake?

The good news is that mods are free to equip and unequip all the time. Go and re-install them on the mech from which you removed them.
I can't. I don't have the Elite mod parts anymore.
I saved up 1575 Elite mod parts at first and equiped the Blockade mod. I then removed the Blockade mod (free of charge), but I did not get the 1575 Elite mod parts refunded.
Now I gotta save up another 1575 mod parts to re-equip it xD
Mods do not refund any parts when they are unequipped, they unequip and keep the levels that were applied. It is only re-equippable on the mech from which you unequipped it, if needed I can record a video to show you what I mean.
