Yeah, I signed in this morning for new tournament play, and my team lost 20 kills to like 5. It happened in three other tournament games, around the same score. Tbis game went from fun to like, I hate this game. I tried again this afternoon and same thing. I think I might be done altogether with mec arena. It was bad. 

What are others experiencing? 

It varies.

You get lots of free wins, but often, like also happened to me, 3 fully maxed enemies beat you 25-1 (it got that one kill btw :P) 

I am skeptical about this update but I like it in concept. I have advocated random tournament matchmaking be random for a while now. A couple things stand out to me though.

1: My matches have had mostly high level players and there's usually a max or near max player in each match. I myself don't have a problem with this, though I have no 4 star mechs and my hangar is all 3 stars. And it's not a problem but I didn't think there would be so many players that strong and honestly not so few players around the same level. I thought most of the people I encountered should have 4 star mechs mostly epic because that's the early portion of mid game. But there was a fair number of 5 stars. Again not a problem it's something I noticed I was apparently wrong about and kinda shocked by. Is there not that many 3 and 4 star pl participating in tourney overall?

2: Lopsided teams have been frequent and it completely ruins the match. One side gets to shoot fish in a barrel and for the other it's unplayable. This isn't fun and I thought with all this time they would have known to implement a system to prevent these stupidly lopsided matches

Mmmmh......needs "some time" to calibrate. If this works a "fast" as nearly all things in this game - i think we shall give them 3 - 4 years to get this done. 

Play a comp game with no p2w elements. Cosmetics could be p2g (pay to get) but it should be fine. A game like this is pokemon unite. U can get every pokemon in the roster for free but cosmetics for the pokemon you have to pay for. It's fun.
