I can confirm this, you need to look directly to target in order to lock, as soon as you look left or right it's lost and need to lock again... 

I forward this as a pretty annoying issue to deal 

Not just that though, but there's  times it shouldn't hit your mech and yet somehow it does.

Yes, either the lock is lost, or the lock goes from one target to another before you can fire.

Oh yeah how could I miss that. It's so annoying to deal with cause it usually means that bots can get cheap hits on you. And players.
