I rejoined the game this week after 6 months or so. What is the deal with bastion and area shields? Were they nerfed at some point. They disappear so quickly now, and not just from sniper weapons. They are really weak now!
dear friend everything has been redone, from the EM-RIFLE rifle. zhepyr, etc etc..fraudulent policy, you pay for nothing. ...you'll notice that BOT are the smart ones from the lower hangar who win. This game is in decline man. and remember the more you spend, the more you will spend, and you will not have improvements.... the game is being abandoned... anyway the facts will speak. So if the last time you played was before the massive respec they did, then yes, Mechs will seem to die faster. I guess it was about 6-9 months ago that they buffed weapons and nerfed mech health. Or at least that's what it felt like at the time to me. I can remember one day it taking me a few hits to die and the next, bang and you're gone.

man they nerfed everything and if you notice the players are leaving. they nerfed the mechs, the weapons, they made more aggressive BOTs... and your opponents are simply more powerful than you. this game failed man.. they were too greedy.. and incompetent.
