If you just started the game, you're in a sort of "honeymoon" phase with the game. What this means is that you will play super easy ai and opponents to garner your game loyalty - because you THINK you are really good at the game. Hell, I don't think I lost my first match until I hit over 500 games, and this was in the old division system, haha. Now, your rank icon tells you a lot; you start in a sort of protected league in which the icon is a shield with a number in it. This is a beginner league for newbies to the game. After you get out of that, you hit "general population", the icon is a hexagon with a number in it. This gets into ranked battle against actual long term players of the game and paywall ai. From there you climb into the Top 500 if any good (or can just endlessly grind).

Try hitting 100k and 200k+ xp. Hahahahahahahhahahah.
