Any suggestion as to my progress path?
I currently have 1.6k SP with the following hangar:
Panther (20E) - EM16 (5s) + Thermal Lance 4 w/ Rare Pilot
Killshot (16E) - DL8s w/ Rare Pilot
Guardian (16E) - MR8s w/ Neymar
Tengu (8E) - Arc6s Shot 2s w/ Rare Pilot [I've been told that shot4s are better but I really enjoy the Arcs and I think Im more comfortable playing that despite it being the weaker loadout].
In my inventory, I have or I might acquire:
1.6k a-coins
Arc 12 (2s)
Stasis 16 - I'm quite aware this is not very good.
There's a good chance that I will win the legendary sniper pilot from the playoff event, although I don't want to jinx it.
Ares (12E)
Mortar 12s w/ epic damage implant - i just hate this weapon. I understand that its incredibly broken, but it just bores the fuck out of me. All I have to do is stand behind a wall and the only worrry I have is fellow mortar users. I don't judge people for using these but honest to god I judge myself for using these.
I am not so sure how to progress, but here is my initial approach in that order of priority:
I want to keep upgrading my Panther whenever I can, by which the milestone is to replace the TL with a Longarm for shield breaking and applying overheat.
I want to keep upgrading my weapons, but not ranking them up except maybe for the EM16 and the DL8s. I'm not so sure if I want to rank up my ML8s.
I want to upgrade my Tengu because I really enjoy playing him and apparently he is one of the meta mechs; I also will try to grab shot8s when it appears as an offer.
I want to buy some Epic Pilots, specifically Rosa for my Killshot.
I want to upgrade the rank of my Guardian and use Arc12 + Arc6 and then possibly take G-lock.
Now I ask these questions, and please answer them in a way that would benefit me more effectively and efficiently as I progress towards late game [although I am aware that that is still a long time from now]:
Is there something wrong with my approach?
Is there something missing with my approach?
What would be the better priority?
