Hello, everyone!

Update 11.71 lies at the end of the yellow brick road, and is entirely dedicated to our new major Event - Echoes of Oz. Our adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic novel features beloved characters-turned-Legendary Champions, the return of the Event Dungeon, and more. Read the full Update Highlights article to get the details!

Echoes of Oz

The new major RAID Event begins on August 19th and will bring the characters of Frank Baum’s novel into the dark fantasy realm of Teleria. Dorothy Gale, now a powerful aeromancer in her own right, and her faithful dog, Toto, find themselves pulled into the twisted nightmare realm of Oz years after completing their journey to find the Wizard. Unbeknownst to them, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion have all been lured here as well, and are subjected to the horrors dreamt up by Ozilda the Wicked - the old Wicked Witch’s apprentice, who seeks to take revenge for her mentor’s demise. Dorothy and her friends must reunite and defeat Ozilda if they are to find their way home!

Event Dungeon

In order to help them, raid the Event Dungeon that gets re-opened on August 19th and will remain available until Echoes of Oz comes to a close on November 10th. The Chronophage Gear that Ozilda has been hoarding will be among your rewards!

Furthermore, the Challenge Stages return, offering additional rewards to the most daring: beat Stages 31-35, and secure unique one-time prizes.

Dorothy Chase

We won’t forget about the traditional free Legendary Champion either - Dorothy Gale will be featured in her own Chase Event that lasts from August 19th to November 19th (just be sure to join before November 5th). The gist of it remains the same: log in to RAID on 7 different days to recruit Dorothy, then keep on playing through both Event Phases to get extra rewards and enough Souls to increase her Awakening Level to 5.

Dorothy herself is a powerful Support Champion with a focus on debuffs and buff manipulation. She’ll be useful in PvE and PvP alike, and we intend to release a dedicated Champion Spotlight on our YouTube channel soon - don’t miss it!

Other Champions

The Cowardly Lion will be featured in his own Fusion Event between August 19th and September 3rd. The Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and Ozilda the Wicked will be summonable from Shards (Ozilda and Dorothy will become summonable from November 10th, the Cowardly Lion will be there as of September 4th). Fortunately, the whole cast will remain with us even after the Echoes of Oz Event ends, so you’ll still have your chance to get them all.

Visuals & Profile Customization

To celebrate this new Event, your Bastion will shine with emerald splendor for a while, and the RAID loading screen will also be updated to fit the story. A new theme track will play to complete your immersion, so don’t forget to turn the volume up when Echoes of Oz begins!

You can expect to see themed Avatar Frame and a unique Badge (one of our cutest designs yet!) for recruiting all Oz Champions. And if you manage to do that before the Event ends, you’ll get a special gift, including a new Profile Background, on top of that.

Miscellaneous

A bug related to the Scroll of the Unseen Relic has been fixed in the release 11.71. 

Fixed an issue with the Scroll of the Unseen Relic in release 11.71 where additional damage was being applied to all allies. Moving forward, only the Relic wearer under the Veil/Perfect Veil buff will deal this extra damage
