Update 11.60.0 is here, and with it, we’re introducing more ways for you to play RAID while running Background Multi-Battles, as well as improvements to Siege, Team Presets, and so much more! Check out everything coming in the latest update below.
As part of our expansion to the Background Multi-Battle feature, you can now fight battles in the Cursed City and Grim Forest while running Background Multi-Battles in other game modes. While you can use the same Champions across both battles, you won’t be able to modify those Champions until the Background Multi-Battles are finished.
To bolster competition in high-tier brackets, a new matchmaking rule for Tiers 7 & 8 has been implemented, requiring Clans to hold more than 5,000 points to remain eligible for matchmaking. Furthermore, all players can now access the Avatars from the Tier they’re currently in and any lower Tiers.
To give Clan Leaders & Deputies more control during Sieges, Deputies can now remove players’ Teams and Traps, making it easier than ever to optimize your defenses. Also, both Clan Leaders & Deputies can now view detailed logs on exactly which Scrolls were used during a Siege.
As part of changes to Siege, we’ve also introduced a quality-of-life change to Saved Team Presets, and enabled players to add Presets for Siege, among other game modes. We’ve also introduced a “Start on Auto” checkbox to all Siege pre-battle windows for those of you who want maximum control from the outset.
We’ve introduced a raft of changes to Live Arena, with adjustments to matchmaking and the general flow of battle. First up, we’ve improved seasonal matchmaking to reduce the likelihood that players will face an opponent whose rating significantly differs from their own.
We’ve also made it much more unlikely that you’ll be matched against the same opponent multiple times in a row. While you may occasionally come up against the same opponent as the previous battle, that opponent now has a significantly lower priority for your matchmaking queue.
Finally, no-one enjoys being stuck in overly long and drawn-out battles, so we’re reducing the maximum battle time from 20 minutes down to 15 minutes. Alongside this, after every 5 minutes of battle time, players will have less time per turn to make their decision. After the first 5 minutes, players will have 10 seconds to make their decision, and after 10 minutes, players will have just 8 seconds to decide.
The Change Team Decks token, available via the Vendor in Grim Forest, will now allow you to change Champions, even if the Champion you want to change had been previously rolled for a Stage that you could not beat.
We’ve updated the Saved Team Presets feature to allow players to customize their Saved Team Presets for different groups of game modes, meaning you can save more Teams than ever before.
You can also now rapidly save a Team you like, even if all slots on the team aren’t filled, and you can also immediately save a Team as a Preset from the Battle Results window.
