The 7th RAID Anniversary is right around the corner, and Update 11.30 will pave the way for the festivities. It will also introduce the brazen-clad Argonites, whose sacrosanct games, known as the Gymnastikon, are the theme of this year’s Anniversary Event.

Furthermore, we have two long-awaited QoL features: the Live Arena Friendly Battles and the Fusion Champion Swap, ready to roll out with the Update alongside a buff to Platinum Arena rewards and a few other minor changes. Read the full article below to learn more!

New Faction: Argonites & RAID Anniversary

Inspired by the timeless aesthetics of Ancient Greece and Rome, the Argonites arrive to RAID in force at last! You’ve already had the first glimpse of this new Faction during our IP integration Event with Assassin’s Creed, and now the first proper batch of Champions will join. And they do not come empty-handed.

This year’s Festival of Creation will be celebrated as Argonite traditions dictate - with the sacred games of the Gymnastikon! Expect in-game gifts, a new Avatar Frame, multiple Events that feature all sorts of goodies, and a new Legendary Champion, Pelops the Victor, available via Fusion. QoL: Live Arena Friendly Battles

A while ago, we promised that you’d be able to play Live Arena with your friends whenever you want. And now, the time has come! Live Arena Friendly Battles are finally getting released with the new Update, and you’ll have two options to play them out.

When you access the Friendly Battle tab in the Live Arena menu, you’ll notice two sub-tabs: Clan and Challengers. These correspond to the different ways of entering a Friendly Battle.

Clan

In this tab, you can send an application for a Live Arena Friendly Battle. Any Clanmate who checks the tab will see it and can accept at will. When they do, you’ll get a pop-up notification (provided you are not engaged in Battle yourself) and you can get straight to the action.

Challengers

If you want to challenge a specific player directly, you’ll need to coordinate with them and use the Challengers tab. Here, you can both add one another to your Challengers List by entering the username and searching for your respective accounts. Please note that both players need to do this independently, as the game won’t send notifications to avoid request spam being used maliciously. Keep in mind that you can only have up to 30 Challengers on your list.

Once that’s done, both players will appear on each other’s Challenger List. From here, you can issue a direct challenge whenever you want!

Important notice: Live Arena Friendly Battles can be fought at any time, whether Live Arena matchmaking is active or not. You won’t spend any resources to participate in them, nor will you win any reward - it’s all for fun and practice!

QoL: Change Fusion Champion

The ability to reactivate old Fusions is another feature that has been shaped by Community feedback. Here is how it works.

First, you’ll need Fusion Tokens - these can be earned by completing active Fusions without swapping the reward Champion. One successful Fusion yields one Fusion Token. You can use them to change the final Champion in a current time-limited Fusion Event with another that has featured in the earlier Fusion or Fragment Summon Events.

These Champions will be separated into 3 Tiers with increasing change costs of 1, 2, and 3 Fusion Tokens to pick a Champion. Fortunately, failing to complete the Fusion for whatever reason will result in all spent Tokens being refunded, so you won’t lose anything.

Keep in mind that you can’t activate Fusion at will, and the Champion Change can only happen when there is an active time-limited Event. Furthermore, once you’ve picked a Champion for the swap, you commit and can’t change that choice until the end of the current Fusion. You also won’t be able to change to Champions that have already been obtained during their respective Events or through any other means.

Balance Changes: Classic Arena Platinum Tier

Classic Arena Platinum Tier rewards for the Top 500, Top 20, and Top 3 Chests will see significant balance changes in the coming Update. These Chests will now contain Accessories of Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Rarities, Mythical Artefacts, 12 new Avatars (4 per Chest), and 2 new Avatar Frames.

Furthermore, Swift Parry and Deflection Sets are getting reworked. Both will become Variable 9-piece Sets with new bonuses - you can see the changes below:

Swift Parry

Equip 1-9 pieces for: +30% C.DMG, +28% SPD, +25% HP, 50% chance of getting an Unkillable buff, 15% less damage on the wearer, +50% Ignore DEF.

Deflection

Equip 1-9 pieces for: +60 ACC, +32% SPD, 35% chance to deflect any debuff onto the attacker when a debuff is placed on the wearer. Places a Block Debuff buff on the wearer at the start of the Round. Wearer deals bonus damage proportional to ACC to enemies that block debuffs from the wearer (This damage can remove Total Guard stacks.). Ignore DEF effects are 10% less effective (5% for Bosses) for each active debuff placed by the wearer.

Miscellaneous

• You’ll be able to get multiple Energy Refill items when you run out during Battles.
• Likewise, you can purchase multiple items in the Clan Shop by selecting the desired amount on a slider where it applies.
• The Battle UI will be adjusted to move the minimized chat window under the Pause button. Only the chat icon will remain active - you will no longer open the chat by tapping the text of the last message displayed there.
